Dear Vajra North Sangha.
The members of the Vajra North–Rigdrol Dechen Ling Board of Directors would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all sangha members for the various ways you have generously contributed to the dharma over the years. Your time and energy, as well as your own practice, sustain the spirit of the dharma that grows strong and is very precious to all of us. Thank you.
For your information and consideration, Vajra North is developing a Donor Program for regular and predictable financial support of dharma activities; this may be another way for you to support teachings, retreats and practices, if you wish. Vajra North sponsors a variety of dharma teachings and practices over the course of each year. We are gradually expanding our library of Dharma books, CDs and DVDs, all of which are available for people to borrow. We also support overseas Dharma activities where the need is great and financial contributions go a long way. For the various events, Vajra North invites participants to make individual donations to help cover the rental costs of White Swan Sanctuary and other event venues.
This year, the Vajra North Board of Directors is encouraging Sangha members to make regular donations – whether monthly, quarterly, or yearly – to help sustain these and other dharma activities (retreats, hosting visiting teachers, etc.) now and in the future. A predictable and committed set of donations enables us to establish a budget and plan better for the year’s activities and expenditures. It is also important that we establish a bit of a cushion in our budget for shortfalls or unexpected opportunities for teachings.
For those of you interested in a more regular method of donating (instead of making weekly and monthly donations at each practice you attend), you are invited to join the Vajra North Donor Program. Vajra North is a federally registered and recognized charitable Canadian organization and donations are tax-deductible. For donations of $20 or more you will be issued a tax receipt at the end of the year. Anonymous donations are gratefully accepted.
Using Canada Helps (Canada’s platform for donating and fundraising online), Vajra North can receive donations online that are made outside of the donations made to events held in Whitehorse.

Another donation option is through mail (snail mail with postage stamps) for the Vajra North Donor Program. Participants may mail their donations to:
Vajra North, Box 31840, Whitehorse, Yukon, Y1A 6L3, Canada. Please include a return address so that your tax receipt can be mailed to you. Tax receipts will be issued at the end of each calendar year.
Vajra North does not require or expect donations from participants and will never turn anyone away from a practice or teaching due to lack of funds.
